1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 This Cookie Policy applies specifically to the global talent application website (“Talent Site") of Rosewood Hotel Group and its affiliates (“Rosewood”) and any properties that Rosewood owns and manages using this Talent Site. The terms “Rosewood”, “we”, “us” as used in this Cookie Policy collectively refer to Rosewood Hotel Group and its affiliates.
2 WHAT IS COOKIE?
2.1 Rosewood uses cookies and other technologies to enable features at the Talent Site, or in advertisements on other sites (hereafter referred to as “Cookies”). A Cookie is a small text file that stores Internet settings. Almost every website uses Cookie technology. Cookies, among other things, speed navigation through our Talent Site, keep track of information so that you do not have to re-enter it each time you visit our Talent Site, help us provide you with customized content and allow us to learn about your visit. 2.5 Types of Cookies We Use. Rosewood uses three types of Cookies for this Talent Site: strictly necessary Cookies, functional Cookies and social platform Cookies
2.5.1 Strictly necessary Cookies are essential in order to enable you to move around the Talent Site and use its features. These temporary Cookies only last as long as your web browser is open, and are used for technical purposes such as enabling better navigation on our Talent Site. 2.5.3 Social Platform Cookies are set by a range of social plugins platform that we have added to the Talent Site to enable you to submit your personal particulars easily by auto-filling forms with the personal particulars you already shared on these social platforms. When you enable the use of these social platform plugins, these platforms also deploy other types of Cookies that are capable of tracking your browser across other websites and building up a profile of your interests. This may impact the content and messages you see on other websites you visit. If you do not allow these Cookies you may not be able to see or use these sharing tools to facilitate your job application process.
